Silent like wind
Rage of fire Strength of the earth Flow just like water No matter what I look like, what I'm doing, where I am, this is me. Not even the one who I loved the most could have change that. Not even the most hurtful betrayal from the one who I was closest to, not even the most painful loss of my greatest love and companion, not even the most humiliating defeat from her could change that. I have endured much, but I have still come back strong. For years I have never truly been tested on what I believe in, until recently. Now, the one who I had given my life and my heart to has become my greatest enemy... Sensei Russell once told me that "The greatest gift you can have is an enemy, because they test you, and bring out both the best and worst in you". I doubt that Caitlin will care to see this, but... Even before she became my enemy, she was always the greatest gift to me...and in some way, she always will be. Though she only thinks of me with hate and anger, that doesn't change the fact that my greatest triumphs and defeats were with her. I will never forget what she did for me, and I will treasure our memories forever. No one could ever take the place that we still have in each other's hearts, no matter how much anyone tries. We both passed into adulthood in each other's arms, and learned the greatest lessons of love side by side. Only she could love me this much, and hurt me this bad. If I could speak to her one more time, I'd thank her for being everything to me. Best friend, lover, and enemy. In her arms, I was happy... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
